Hey there! Eva here, and I'm all about creativity and innovation matched with gifted coaching and somatic therapy. I work with intense and gifted people like myself - teenagers and adults alike - to help them self-innovate and tap into their full potential.

My interest in mental health and the human psyche goes way back. I mean, I was practically raised on psychological thrillers and crime shows, and I even dreamed of becoming an FBI profiler! So, you could say I've always had a passion for this stuff.

After a bit of a squiggly career, I found myself managing digital strategy and innovation teams in the tech world. But then, COVID and a surgery forced me to slow down and reevaluate my needs and wants. And what did I discover? That what truly makes me happy is helping other gifted people with all their complexities and intensities transform their lives! Not in the traditional coaching or doom & gloom therapy style, but in a more fun, hands-on and lighthearted way.

Now, I'm all about offering a unique blend of coaching, healing, and innovation. Think workshops, contemplative art, lego (yes, really!), talking, exploring emotions, meditation and more. I'm not a traditional licensed psychotherapist; combining my various educations and life experience into this offering is what allows me to get really creative and tailor my approach to your specific needs. Plus, let’s not forget the gifted aspect of Gifted Quest, I'm trained in gifted psychology and my work is based on the holistic model of giftedness, developed by none other than Jennifer Harvey Sallin of InterGifted.

I'm not here to make you dependent on me - I want you to find your own magic pill within you. My dedication is to help you help yourself and become the absolute star that you're meant to be!

When I'm not working with my amazing clients, you can find me in Switzerland with my husband, three dogs, and three cats. I'm into all sorts of hobbies - reading, nature, painting, studying, ice baths, mindfulness, photography and gaming (Diablo 4, anyone?), to name a few.

At the bottom of this page you’ll find my relevant qualifications.

My Trigger for Change

The covid-period and a rather urgent surgery came as blessings in disguise. Why was I always running? What was I running away from? Why couldn’t I be happy? Why did I fall sick at this age? Was it normal that I had struggled with some mental health issues even though I had healed myself somehow. Or didn’t I? Was it just a symptom fix?

I didn’t want to feel like this anymore. The energetic sparkly version of myself was gone, and even colleagues described me as a dark thundercloud. I finally took the space and time for deeper self-inquiry, getting some diagnoses, and ultimately now pursue something that truly aligns to my value system and core beliefs; giving back the gift of healing and help you transform your life holistically across the Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual Self.

My Quest: Redesign myself while healing from Emotional Neglect, Narcissistic Abuse and Gifted Trauma

My healing journey has been quite the adventure already and is probably a life-long thing that I started! It isn't a quick or easy fix, but I was determined to feel better without knowing what was actually wrong, so I started exploring all sorts of practices. I firmly believed that I should be able to fix anything myself, and definitely wasn’t ready to work with professionals just yet.

I started with yoga, then meditation, then added saunas and cold exposure therapy (shoutout to my countryman Wim Hof), I was trying it all. And you know what? It actually started to make a difference! In hindsight I can say that my nervous system started to balance out, I slept better, and those never-ending thought spirals started to quiet down (at least sometimes, a little bit!)

But it still felt like I was only treating the symptoms. I just needed to get to the root of why I was feeling this way. That's how I rediscovered my giftedness and started on a journey of self-exploration. Turns out, I had been through some stuff like Childhood Emotional Neglect, Narcissistic Abuse, and had Gifted Trauma. What a shocker! It's amazing how our brains can rationalize and cover up past traumas. I now understand that I had to, to protect myself, and just thought that it was normal…

So I dove into books, videos, studies, and felt ready (“safe enough” in trauma jargon) to seek help. I tried out different healing modalities like coaching, somatic therapy, reiki, regression, theta healing, and microdosing. And let me tell you, it all started to make sense. I finally started connecting my brain to my body and listening to what it had been trying to tell me all along. It was a wild ride, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Why Gifted Quest?

Thinking back on my own journey reminded me of those epic video game quests. You start off with a mission, but along the way, you discover all these hidden side quests that add to the adventure. That's the spirit behind Gifted Quest! We'll work together to design a path that meets your specific needs and interests, making the journey toward happiness and fulfilment feel like an exciting adventure. No one size fits all! And if you want to circle back to an old part of a Quest now that you’ve gained some experience, we “replay” the topic and fill the gaps that we didn’t access yet the first time around!

I've got a one-of-a-kind approach to help you feel like your best self again. With my background in social psychology, trauma-informed coaching, somatic healing, and innovation, I bring a fresh and comprehensive perspective that really connects the dots.

I know firsthand how tough it can be to deal with past traumas and emotional blocks. That's why I'm here to offer customized support that helps you work through these challenges and reach your full potential to feel alive again!

My Clients

My clients are typically those who are new to self-discovery or have already tried more traditional healing modalities but feel like something is missing; usually along the lines of working on symptom relief and testing new strategies, rather than having worked on the root causes.

My approach is an integration of everything I've learned from studying with experts in their respective fields and my own professional and personal experiences. I specialize in working with highly intense, creative, and gifted humans, offering fit-for-purpose services that truly resonate.

As someone who has been through my own healing journey, I understand the importance of embodied and alternative healing modalities. That's why I'm dedicated to helping you heal, rather than pleasing a healthcare system with limited methodologies, administrative work, and reimbursements.

Let's work together to uncover what's been holding you back and unleash your true potential!
